Building Nearpod into the Classroom
In this in-person course participants will learn to use Nearpod as an essential classroom tool. They will explore the features of the district license and be able to utilize them in the most effective ways. The participants will be guided through building Nearpod presentations they will be able to use with students immediately after each class. Participants will also learn how to access and utilize reports, how Nearpod supports instructional priorities, and how to manage student engagement while they are learning with Nearpod. Most of the coursework should be able to be completed during the in-person course sessions. The in-person classes will be held on Wednesdays beginning on April 11, 2018 and will end on May 23, 2018 located at Mt. Jordan Middle School 9351 South Mountaineer Lane in Sandy, UT. The weekly classes will run 4:15-6:15pm and will be located in the health room on the north side of the building by the cafeteria.
