Professional Growth and Leadership
Participants will learn how technology enables efficient, resourceful and creativity in their teaching practice and in leadership at the school and district level. Participants will demonstrate the role and potential of technology in classroom teaching and in professional development, recognize and develop qualities of an effective leader, and realize the benefits of participating in local and global learning communities. Using the ISTE Teacher Standards for Technology as the framework for this course, participants will develop the skills needed for sustained personal professional growth and educational technology leadership.
This is a BLENDED course that begins January 7th and ends March 17, 2020 and requires 3 in-person classes: January 7, February 18, and March 17 from 4:15pm - 7:15pm. Location for in-person classes - January 7th and February 17 classes CAB- E Superintendent Conference Room and March 17 - CAB E - East Conference Room.
