Professional Growth and Leadership
PREREQUISITE: Participants must have tested out of or completed the Level 1 Certification by the first day of class.
Participants will learn how technology enables efficient, resourceful and creativity in their teaching practice and in leadership at the school and district level. Participants will demonstrate the role and potential of technology in classroom teaching and in professional development, recognize and develop qualities of an effective leader, and realize the benefits of participating in local and global learning communities. Using the ISTE Teacher Standards for Technology as the framework for this course, participants will develop the skills needed for sustained personal professional growth and educational technology leadership.
This is a BLENDED course that begins January 8th and ends March 19, 2019 and requires 3 in-person classes: January 8, February 19, and March 26 from 4:15pm - 7:15pm in the CAB-East Computer Training Lab.
