The Education Technology Endorsement follows the Educational Technology Endorsement guidelines as outlined in the Utah State Board of Education.  In order to earn an endorsement, a participant must complete courses totaling 18 credits. The endorsement consists of THREE required courses that are THREE credits each: Foundations of Instructional Design, Professional Growth and Leadership, and the Level 2 Educational Technology Certification. If you have completed enough courses for the ed tech endorsement complete this form. An endorsement completion letter will be written and sent to you. This letter will confirm that you have completed the courses through Canyons School District, and you will need to send that letter in to USBE with your endorsement application and SUU or USBE transcripts.

This tracker form can be used to identify classes you have taken (or may take) for the endorsement.   Teacher may take technology classes through UEN and have those classes count towards the credits needed for the endorsement. Teachers can contact Camille Cole (camille.cole@canyonsdistrict.org) for more information.
